He frequently consults Fortune 500 companies (e.g. NBC Universal, Warner Media) and regularly advises technology start-ups on strategy. Recently Oliver has been consulting Warner Media on data architecture and enterprise search, and he is currently leading the design and development of the media packaging platform that delivers WB content to its digital distribution partner such as Apple, Amazon, Roku, and Warner Media’s own flagship SVOD service HBOMax.
Some of Oliver’s entrepreneurial ventures include, personal knowledge management start-up Scour.ai. Dialogues.org, the first online discovery platform dedicated to indexing, analyzing, and crowd-sourcing interviews, debates, and conversations. Cellmobs, an enterprise SaaS platform designed for launching startups. SolidMedia (2007-2008), one of the first location-based advertising platforms that was selected to power the advertising service of Europe’s 3rd largest mobile carrier E-Plus.
Prior to that, he co-founded 192.com (UK White Pages & Identity Verification, 2000-2003, a data service that remains one of the leading information providers in the UK today; Flicksmart, DVD and Video Game Rental e-commerce platform (2002-2004); and ShowBIZ Data, an entertainment industry data portal that innovated information services that became widely adopted in the entertainment industry; 1997–2007)
